Careers - Electronics

Examples of careers in the electronics area of the manufacturing industry include:

  • Electrical engineer
    Electrical engineers design and maintain electrical systems for computing, communications and other industrial applications.
  • Mechatronic engineer
    Mechatronic engineers design and maintain machinery with electronic control systems. They develop machinery like aircraft, robots, power generators and medical devices.
  • Software engineer
    Software engineers develop, maintain and modify computer and software programs.
