University degrees

You can enter the manufacturing industry by completing a university degree.

At school, you will need to choose prerequisite subjects in Year 11 and 12 that lead towards an OP score that will allow you to enter the degree of your choice.  

Once you complete your degree you can gain employment in the manufacturing industry in rewarding jobs, for example:

• Engineer (process and production)
• Chemist
• Food technologist or scientist
• Marine architect or engineer
• Avionics engineer
• Electrical engineer
